BG at Mori
Buffy has been surfing in SL for 16 months now. She took part in her first competition in November 2007, and won! Soon after, she joined the Vibrations Surf Team as a Pro Rider. Since then she has won two Surf Jams and is now the Captain of the Vibes Team.
Buffy and Quench teamed up and grabbed a 3rd place finish in the Tandem surf comp hosted by team Tsunami.
Buffy started to surf in the SLSA comps halfway through season 2 2007, and found herself low in the ranks but then in 2008 S1 she had climbed to 23rd and by 2008 S2 she ranked 16th! We hope to see her it continue her climb up the rankings in 2009.
Buffy’s favourite hangout was always Majini but now she says she feels completely at home again at Mori Pwani. Her favourite wave is the epic but does love to tear it up on pipes and fluffs also! You will mostly see her riding her custom SJA board or her Vibrations Team Board.
