Surf-Jam podium, Feb.´09
Aloha – Here are the results from SJ9 held on Saturday the 7th of Febuary on Mori Pwani.
After some GREAT surfing by ALL the riders in the pre-lims we narrowed the field to 9 riders that went on to the semis. Some new names in the mix made things even more fun and when the spray from the semi´s settled we had 5 riders ready to battle it out in the final. Here´s how they stacked up when all was said and done…………….

3rd Sexyboy Oh – BLUE (15.666)
4th Aurora Jacks – BLACK (15.000)
5th Gorka Urriah – PURPLE (14.666)
A quick glance at the scores and we see one of the tightest finals in SJ history! Great job EVERYONE!!

[...] Aurora put up some of the top numbers all day holding the second highest score of all day until late in the semis. She game out with an amazing 4th place finish overall. She lost a wave in the finals due to lag issues(who didnt!) But with the pressure on pulled off a PERFECT final run!! Thats the way to do it, when the pressure is on go out and kick some ass!! My own honest opinion, she deserved 3rd and couldn’t quite understand the judges scoring in the finals. Official results here. [...]
